Not what I expected.
Take heed of the description before you buy. You can’t return these! Even with 3 drivers they don’t have enough low end for me. I’m a keyboardist and like to hear the full spectrum. I have to press them into my ear and hold with my hands in order to hear any bass at all. Silicon tips no help. I did simple A-B comparison with some old iPod earbuds and there is definitely a generous amount of high end on the Mach 30 in comparison, way too much for my taste! Westone has a good reputation as far as the people I have talked to about this. I can only say that my experience has not matched the hype. Perhaps the other products are good? I don’t know and will probably never find out.

FANTASTIC first set of in-ear monitors!
Once I started playing guitar at my church, I needed to get a legit set of IEMs. I had used random pairs of earbuds and no-name brands purchased online, and they were okay, but these Mach30s are absolutely next level. The triple drivers make a huge difference, and the clarity across the entire frequency band is impressive. I find myself using them for listening to music and gaming as well as for IEMs.
They come with so many ear tips that it’s worth taking the time trying them all to find what works best. For me, it’s the medium foam tips, but YMMV. With the current discount, it’s a no-brainer: if you’re looking for a reasonably priced, purpose-made IEMs, you can’t go wrong with these.
